Christian Author Jim Wallis Speaks at Open Forum in Rhode Island

Next week, one of the best-known authors on issues related to Christianity will hold an open forum in Rhode Island. Jim Wallis is speaking on August 16th at Harbor Church.
The talk with the bestselling author will begin at 7 p.m. The title of Wallis' presentation is, "Racism, White Privilege and the Bridge to a New America".
In the discussion, Wallis will address how racial issues currently affect the criminal justice and political systems. Additionally, there will also be a book signing and question and answer session as part of the event.
Wallis will be signing copies of his recent book, "America's Original Sin". The book currently checks in at fifth on Amazon's list of top books in the ethics category.
Wallis the founder and CEO of Sojourners, which started as a Washington DC-based community of Christian community. He was able to expand the Sojourners platform to a national magazine that he still serves as editor-in-chief of.
Wallis currently serves on the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Values. He has also been an important member of the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
