Cancer Survivor Geralyn Lucas Holds Book Discussion in Connecticut

Many have inspired through their public battles with cancer. Geralyn Lucas is no different.
Lucas will discuss her second book, "Then Came Life", today at Vince, a clothing store in Greenwich, Connecticut. Tickets to the event cost $15 and included a copy of the book.
Following Lucas' presentation, she signed the books. The event was put on by the Jewish Community Center, Jewish Book Council and the Breast Cancer Alliance.
At the age of 27, Lucas was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her first book, "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy", chronicled her journey and it was turned into a Lifetime television movie.
Lucas was prepared for her career as a writer by working for ABC News as an editorial producer on 20/20 for seven years. She also served as a director of public affairs for Lifetime.
Lucas is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism. Then Came Life was published in 2014 and it recounts several stories of living life post-cancer.
