One of the most influential businesswomen in the world is coming to the University of California. Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg will speak at commencement on May 14th at the Berkeley campus.
Graduating seniors picked three finalists to speak out of a poll compiled by the Senior Class Council. Then a campus student group worked with a speaker to make the ultimate choice in December.
Commencement will be held at Memorial Stadium. General admission tickets for guests are for sale.

Prior to arriving at Facebook, Sandberg spent seven years at Google and was previously chief of staff for the U.S. Secretary of State. In 2013, she used her collective experience to write "Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead".
Currently, Sandberg sits on the boards of the Walt Disney Company and Women for Women International in addition to Facebook. She was named one of Time's most influential people in the world in 2012.
