Caitlyn Jenner's public transformation has only expedited what was already a busy schedule of speaking engagements. Her latest appearance comes next Wednesday at the Unversity of Pennslyvania.
Jenner is speaking as part of The Social Planning and Event Committee's spring speaker series. With it also being QPenn week at the school, she is also serving as the keynote speaker for that LGBTQ event.
The event will be held at the Irvine Auditorium on campus. It will feature a 60-minute discussion moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Buzz Bissinger and a question and answer session with the audience.
After a lifetime in the public eye, Jenner revealed her identity as a transgender woman to the world in April of last year. Since, she has become a leading spokesperson for the LGBTQ community.
In July, Jenner won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs. Barbara Walters named her the Most Fascinating Person of 2015.
Jenner has been an American icon ever since winning gold in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics. Over the years, she has starred in movies and TV shows with most of her recent notoriety coming from the E! reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".
