Ted Leonsis is one of the top influencers in the country when it comes to sports business.  He was able to share his roadmap for success recently back in his hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts.

Last Thursday, Leonsis was the keynote speaker at the Entrepreneurship for all Conference.  The event was held at UTEC.

Leonsis talked about how his business drive started very early in life.  It was exactly the kind of message EforAll was hoping he would present.

As the owner & CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Leonsis controls some of the most valuable sports properties in Washington D.C.  He is the majority owner of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics and Washington Valor.

Leonsis also controls the arena those franchises compete in, the Verizon Center.  Additionally, he is a founder and investor in the Revolution Growth Fund.

Leonsis started off on a path for success when he started Redgate Communications Corporation in 1987.  That company was acquired by American Online in 1994 and he served as a top executive at AOL for 13 years.
