Broadway Legend Joel Grey Speaks at New York’s Drama Book Shop

Last night, Joel Grey held a very special event for any diehard Broadway fans.  The stage legend held a discussion at New York's Drama Book Shop.

Beginning at 5 p.m., he discussed his new memoir, "Master of Ceremonies".  He also took part in a question and answer session with the audience that took place downstairs at the Arthur Seelen Theatre.

Following those festivities, Grey signed copies of his book on the shop's main floor.  The event was free with those having purchased his memoir being given priority admission.

Grey's memoir title is fitting because he is best known for his role as Master of Ceremonies in the stage and film version of "Cabaret".  For his performance, he netted an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Tony.

During his career, Grey has been nominated for three other Tony Awards.  He has starred in big time plays like "Chicago" and "Wicked".

Following a lengthy absence, Grey returned to Broadway in 2011 as Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes".  Prior to releasing his memoir, he published four other books mostly related to his passion for photography.
