Brand Expert David Aaker Speaks at Chamber of Commerce Event in Massachusetts

David Aaker is sought after by companies throughout the country for his expertise on strategy and branding. On Monday, the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce in Massachusetts brought him in for a training session. 

Aaker spoke during morning and afternoon sessions for the Chamber. His presentations were titled, "Improve Your Customer Service for the Holidays." 

During the talk, Aaker stressed how service is a privilege and a return to kindness in customer service was needed. He finished the discussion with his 10 Golden Nuggets of Successful Customer Service. 

Aaker is the Vice Chairman for Prophet and creator of the Aaker Model. He has written over 100 articles and 15 books on topics related to business and branding. 

Aaker serves as a Professor Emertus at the University of California, Berkeley in the Haas School of Business. In 2014, California Magazine referred to him as "The Plato and Newton of Branding."

Currently, Aaker serves on the Board of Directors for the California Casualty Insurance Company and Contra-Costa Food Bank. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
