Adrianne Haslet-Davis not only survived in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon, but she is now thriving in life. Her powerful message of moving on will be shared with attendees at the 10th annual Women's Leadership Conference this August.
The conference, hosted by the MGM Resorts Foundation, will be August 8-9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Registration to attend is $450.
That fee includes all presentations, workshops, a networking banquet and meal catering. There will be workshops that provide career counseling and the event is open to women and men.
Out of anyone injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, none may have had their lives more potentially altered. Prior to the tragedy, Haslet-Davis was a ballroom dancer, but she lost part of her left leg in the bombing.
Since, Haslet-Davis has relearned how to dance and been an inspiration to many. In 2013, Cosmopolitan magazine named her one of the most powerful women.
Haslet-Davis also returned to run the Boston Marathon this year. She and her team raised $45,000 for the non-profit Limbs for Life.
