Bestselling Author James Patterson Speaks at Stars of Education Dinner

The South Florida chapter of PBS relied on a notable local resident to raise the profile of their Stars of Education dinner. West Palm Beach resident and bestselling author James Patterson spoke.
The event was held on December 14th at Club Colette. Proceeds benefited children's educational programming on PBS.
There were over 100 people in attendance. In addition to hearing from Patterson, Bill Finneran was presented with the Star of Education Award.
Patterson has sold over 350 million copies of his books and he is the first author to top one million in e-book sales. He regularly ranks at the top of Forbes list of highest-paid authors.
Patterson holds the Guinness World Record for the most #1 New York Times bestsellers. Several of his books have been adapted for film.
Patterson is the recipient of the Literarian Award from the National Book Foundation. Prior to becoming a full-time novelist, he rose to the position of CEO for the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency.
