Beatles Scholar Aaron Krerowicz Speaks at Vermont Library Lecture Series
Oct 18 2016

It is a rare thing to become an expert on a band even if that is one of the most iconic bands of all-time. Perhaps even more obscure is someone who does it even though he never lived during the run of that group.
Enter Beatles scholar Aaron Krerowicz as one man who has defied the odds in that respect. On October 5th, he gave a presentation on the band's history at the Rutland Public Library in Vermont.
The discussion was part of the Vermont Humanities Council First Wednesday's lecture series. They occur on the first Wednesday of each month through May in nine different communities across the state.
Krerowicz talk was titled, "The Beatles: Band of the Sixties". He shared audio clips from their music and shared excerpts from interviews he conducted with band members.
Despite being born 15 years after The Beatles broke up, Krerowicz is fascinated by men who became icons of a generation. In 2011, he received a research grant to study the band more from the University of Hartford.
Krerowicz has presented his findings over 250 times in speeches across the U.S. and England. He has written four different books about The Beatles.
