Award-Winning Journalist David Aikman Named Commencement Speaker at Patrick Henry College

One of our most accomplished journalists has been selected as the commencement speaker at Patrick Henry College. Former Time Magazine senior correspondent David Aikman will speak to the Class of 2016.
The graduation is on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Barbara Hodel Center. Aikman will certainly share elements of his personal faith as he speaks to the graduates at the Christian-based university.
Attendees must RSVP in advance. Following the graduation, there will be an appetizer reception.
Aikman had a 23-year career at Time covering important events and groundbreaking historical events around the world. As a foreign correspondent, he was based on four different continents and reported from 55 different countries.
Following his time with Time, Aikman has authored ten books. Many of the books deal with relgious themes and spiritual figures.
Prior to last year, Aikman was actually a professor of history at Patrick Henry College. He holds a bachelor's degree from Worcester College and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
