Apple Executive Eddy Cue Speaks at Pollstar Live Conference

Apple executive Eddy Cue has had a profound impact on the recent history of the music business. He will talk about those innovations next month as a speaker at Pollstar Live! 2018. 

The event takes place February 6-8 at the Intercontinental in downtown Los Angeles, California. Cue will participate in a Q&A with Variety's Shirley Halperin. 

"Apple and the Music Business: A Q&A with Eddy Cue" kicks off Pollstar Live! on February 7th after an opening reception the night before. The conference will conclude with the 2018 Pollstar Awards. 

Cue currently serves as the senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. During his time with the company, he has been key in the creation of the Apple online store, iTunes Store and the App Store. 

Cue originally joined Apple in 1989. He started managing their software engineering and customer support teams. 

Cue is the recipient of the 2014 Spirit of Life Award from the City of Hope. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.
