Amtrak CEO Wick Moorman Speaks at RailTrends 2016 on November 17th

One of the most influential leaders in transit is lined up to speak at RailTrends 2016.  Amtrak CEO Wick Moorman will address conference attendees on November 17th. 

RailTrends is the top session of its kind in the railway business.  The event runs over two days at The W Hotel in New York City.  

Moorman's presentation takes place at 9:45 a.m. on the conference's first day.  Registration is currently open and costs $1,725. 

On September 1st, Moorman was appointed president and CEO of Amtrak.  He is the tenth head executive of the company since it began in 1971. 

For four decades, Moorman worked at Norfolk Southern Corp. and its predecessor, Southern Railway.  In 2015, he retired as the organization's chairman and CEO. 

Moorman was named 2011 Railroader of the Year by Railway Age.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Chevron Corporation, Duke Energy Corporation,  the Georgia Tech Foundation and Nature Conservancy's Virginia chapter.
