One of the world's top Alzheimer's researchers is speaking at The Environmental Design Research Association's Annual Conference. The event, now in its 47th year, will welcome the co-founder and president of Hearthstone Alzheimer Care, John Zeisel.
EDRA47 will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina May 18-21. Zeisel is one of six keynote speakers presenting at the conference.
During EDRA, there is a meeting of minds from all different industries. These conferences have sparked cutting-edge research and collaboration across the board.
Zeisel has a background in sociology and architecture. With Hearthstone, he focuses on new development, design, teamwork, and research.
Additionally, Zeisel has an extensive experience in academics. He has served on the faculty of Harvard University's School of Architecture and also taught at Yall and McGill Universities.
Zeisel is a published author. He sits on committees for the Centre for Health Design, the International Healthcare Institute, Massachusetts Alzheimer's Foundation, and the New York City Office of Aging's Alzheimer's Unit.
