2015 has been a busy year for all-time hit king Pete Rose and that momentum looks to carry him into 2016.  Rose returned to the spotlight as part of FOX’s national baseball coverage and viewers responded positively to his candor and humor.

He will bring that undeniable personality to Morgantown, West Virginia on January 30th as guest speaker at West Virginia baseball’s Leadoff Dinner.  The fourth annual event is being held at the Morgantown Event Center.

Individual tickets cost $100 and there are also various VIP and table packages.  Tickets can be purchased via the Mountaineer Athletic Club.

Rose collected 4,256 hits over his 24-year career.  He was a 17-time All-Star who won three batting titles and inspired a generation of baseball fans with his gritty play.

“Charlie Hustle” won three World Series titles and was a prominent member of the legendary Cincinnati Reds “Big Red Machine” teams.  While he is known for his hitting, Rose also played five different positions during his career and won two Gold Glove Awards.

In 1999, Rose may have received his greatest honor by being named to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.  Aside from his work as a TV analyst now, he is one of the most requested names for appearances from the world of sports.
