A new generation of aviators can certainly be inspired by the amazing feats Aerobatic pilot Sean D. Tucker pulls off in a plane. They also had an opportunity to be encouraged by his words last Wednesday.
Tucker was the keynote speaker at the inaugural Modaero Next Gen Aviation festival. The event was held at The Lone Star Convention & Expo Center at Conroe, Texas.
The festival came to life to combat a national shortage of pilots. Tucker certainly did his part with colorful anecdotes and video that showed some of his stunts in the air.
Tucker performs all over the world with Team Oracle. He has participated in over 1,200 performances and for over 105 million fans.
Currently, Tucker is the chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association Young Eagles program. He also started an academy in 1997 that survives today as the Tutima Academy of Aviation and Safety.
In 2007, Tucker was presented with the Living Legends of Aviation Award. A year later, he was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
