Actress Sarah Jessica Parker Speaks at TimesTalks Event

Last Wednesday, The New York Times hosted actress Sarah Jessica Parker for a special speaking engagement. She was the latest presenter for the TimesTalks series.
Started in 1998, TimesTalks is a series that discusses the latest in film, theater, television, music, art books, style and ideas. Parker's appearance was held at the New York University's Skirball Center at 7:00 p.m.
In each of the TimesTalks, the guest is interviewed by a journalist from the Times. Parker talked with Patricia Cohen about her new HBO series, "Divorce".
Parker is the executive producer and star of the dark comedy that explores a derailed marriage. It is the latest endeavor on a lengthy and prosperous career.
Parker is best known for her prior work on HBO playing Carrie Bradshaw on "Sex and the City". She won two Emmys, four Golden Globes and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for the show.
There were also two film installments of the series that Parker starred in. Her acting career actually began on Broadway as a child in plays like "The Innocents" and "Annie".
