Actress Jessica Alba Keynotes October’s American Made Summit

One of Hollywood's biggest actresses is adding some star power to the American Made Summit this October.  Jessica Alba is the keynote speaker for the fifth annual event. 

The summit is hosted by iconic homemaker Martha Stewart and held at her New York City headquarters from October 21-23.  It is a two-day event that brings together some of the top entrepreneurs and small-business owners in the country. 

Tickets are still available to attend and they range in price from $500-$900.  Some of the other speakers include finance expert Jim Cramer, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse.  

Alba will undoubtedly speak about the success of The Honest Company.  She founded the brand in 2012 and it provides well-made, non-toxic products across a variety of household categories.  

Alba began her acting career while still a teenager.  Her break came with the television series, "Dark Angel", for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. 

Since, Alba has gone on to star in blockbuster films like the "Fantastic Four" series.  Her most recent picture, "Mechanic: Resurrection", will be released later this month.
