Actress Ashley Judd Speaks at YWCA Women’s Luncheon in El Paso in April

Star actress and humanitarian Ashley Judd is coming to El Paso, Texas this April. She is speaking at the YWCA 24th Annual Women's Luncheon.
Each year, the event is hosted by The Paso Del Norte Region YWCA chapter. This particular luncheon will be on April 27th at the El Paso Convention Center.
Funds raised go towards an array of services offered by the organization. Their programs that are most underserved are related to the local homeless community.
Judd launched her career in the early 1990s. The 1993 film, "Ruby In Paradise", put her on the map while she also won an Indepedent Spirit Award and a Chicago Film Critics Association Award for her performance.
Judd has been nominated for two Golden Globes and two Emmys as well. Most recently, she can be seen playing President Barack Obama's late mother Ann Dunham in the Netflix film "Barry."
Judd has used her Hollywood platform for humanitarian work that mostly centers on the AIDS epidemic. She is part of a famous entertainment family as the daughter of country music star Naomi and the sister to singer Wynonna.
