Actor Kirk Cameron Keynotes CrossNet Ministries Banquet

Those involved with CrossNet Ministries are looking forward to welcoming actor Kirk Cameron to their annual banquet. As one of the personalities from Hollywood most associated with the Christian faith, he makes an ideal choice as keynote speaker. 

Cameron plans to highlight some of the work that CrossNet Ministries is doing in his presentation. The event takes place March 27-28 at Shady Maple Banquet & Conference Center in East Earl, Pennsylvania. 

Over 1,000 people are expected to come together, hear from Cameron and support the Eastern Lancaster County School District. The goal is set to raise $150,000 this year. 

Cameron is best known for playing Mike Seaver on the ABC sitcom, Growing Pains, from 1985-92. He earned two Golden Globe nominations for the shows. 

Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, Cameron was a popular child actor who made appearances in films like Like Father Like Son and Listen to Me. Later on, he starred in the Left Behind film series and Fireproof. 

The majority of Cameron's projects today center around his faith and he currently heads The Way of the Master ministry. He is also the co-founder of The Firefly Foundation.
