Actor and TV Personality Terrence Jenkins Kicks Off Rock the Mic Lecture Series

One of the more popular television personalities in recent years takes North Carolina Central University by storm tomorrow. Terrence Jenkins, who also doubles as an actor, is a kickoff speaker for the school's Rock the Mic Lecture Series.
The series is presented by NCCU Student Affairs. Jenkins appearance takes place at 7 p.m. inside the B.N. Duke auditorium on campus.
All events are free and open to the public. There will be five other guest speakers throughout the school year including names like philosopher Cornel West and social activist Ilyasah Shabazz.
Jenkins is best known as the former co-host of the BET music countdown show, "106 and Park". He was on the show from 2006-2012 with co-host Raquel Diaz.
Additionally, Jenkins served as a co-host at E! News from 2012-2015. During his rise to fame on BET, he became a regular in the film business too, acting in movies like "Stomp The Yard".
Jenkins most prominent film roles were the 2012 romantic comedy "Think Like A Man" and the 2014 sequel, "Think Like a Man Too". In between those films, he released his first book, "The Wealth of My Mother's Wisdom".
