Not many people have come up with better ideas in the history of the world than the founders of Apple. That makes co-founder Steve Wozniak a perfect choice to keynote the upcoming ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference.
The conference runs May 22-25 in Lexington, Kentucky and is in its 32nd year. It annually attracts around 3,000 attendees from over 60 countries.
Wozniak will take the stage on the second to the final day of the conference. University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari will be the event's opening keynote speaker.
Wozniak was the sole developer of the Apple 1 computer in 1976. After designing the computer, he quit his job at Hewlett-Packard and went all in with Apple.
Wozniak also designed the Apple II, but left the company on a full-time basis in 1985. He is still considered an employee, is a shareholder, and receives an annual stipend.
Since, Wozniak has founded several other tech companies and has also been used in an advisory capacity. He has been awarded over ten Honorary Doctorate of Engineering degrees and is an adjunct professor at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
